Emerald Schools was established in 1995, starting with Emerald Nursery and Primary School, Gbagada, Lagos. The school was founded on a simple but powerful belief — that every child can learn, and every child can become what he or she intends to become.
Driven by a decade of parental trust and academic success, in 2005 Emerald High School, Ogun State was established. A breathtaking 34-acre campus designed to be more than a school. This "Serene Valley" was engineered to be a haven where students are insulated from the distractions of the city, allowing them to focus on intellectual mastery and character formation. Little wonder that many of the pioneer students of the High School were products of the Primary School.

The trend continues till date. Emerald High School has birthed Emerald Day Secondary School, Ifako-Gbagada, Lagos, which opened on Monday, 5th September, 2022, and Emerald High School (Day) — the day school arm of Emerald High School — which commenced operations in September 2023. These day secondary schools are equally the result of the yearnings of parents who wished for a day school option for their children.
Our pioneer students and subsequent graduates are doing exceptionally in their respective universities from Nigeria to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries. We are honored to be part of their success stories.
Emerald Schools is a co-educational institution offering education to children at nursery, primary and secondary levels. The Emerald Schools brand operates a blended curriculum of British and Nigerian education, with complementary learning programmes outside the classroom that build lasting experiences and skills at every level.

As a deliberate policy, our advertisement campaign has been by word of mouth of parents, as we strive to meet their aspirations and those of their children.
